By following the above steps and precautions, the assembly process of cylindrical bearings can be ensured to proceed smoothly, achieving the expected usage effect and lifespan.

The assembly process of cylindrical bearings mainly includes the following steps:

Cleaning and inspection: Firstly, clean the bearings and related parts to ensure that there is no rust proof oil or other impurities. For grease lubricated bearings and bearings with oil seals or

dust covers, there is no need to clean the sealing ring before installation.

Installation method:

Press fit: When the inner ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the shaft and the outer ring is loosely fitted with the bearing seat hole, the bearing can be press fit onto the shaft first, and

then the shaft and bearing can be installed into the bearing seat hole. When press fitting, place soft metal material on the inner ring end face of the bearing and use a small amount of alcohol

to rotate and assemble.

Hot fit: A method of installation in which a tight fit is transformed into a loose fit by heating the bearing or bearing seat through thermal expansion. This method is suitable for the installation

of bearings with large interference fit. The heating temperature should not exceed 120 ℃ to prevent damage to the seals and lubricating grease.

Fixed inner ring: trapezoidal sleeves or precision bearing nuts are usually used to tighten on the inner ring side, and bolts are used to tighten the front cover on the outer ring side. When using

a trapezoidal sleeve for fixing, attention should be paid to the interference fit between the sleeve after hydraulic expansion and the shaft to ensure the fixing effect.

Trial operation: Trial operation is an important step to ensure stable bearing temperature. Gradually increase the speed according to the type and size of the bearing to ensure that the

temperature reaches a stable state. For example, ball bearings are recommended to increase speed in units of 1000-2000 revolutions per minute, while roller bearings are recommended to

increase speed in units of 500-1000 revolutions per minute.

Attention:

Installation should be carried out in a dry and dust-free environment to avoid contamination from metal shavings and dust.

When heating bearings, they should be evenly heated to avoid local overheating and ensure that the temperature does not exceed the allowable temperature of the seals and lubricating

grease.

After installation, check that there is no gap between the inner ring and the shoulder to ensure proper fixation.

By following the above steps and precautions, the assembly process of cylindrical bearings can be ensured to proceed smoothly, achieving the expected usage effect and lifespan.
